An Ethereal Romantic Wedding
Ethereal: extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.
Spring tones, neutral linens, romantic lighting, and delicate details were the name of the game for this gathering. Bride and florist Katie had a few words to describe the aesthetic and mood for their celebration:
Even though we were having a November wedding, I wanted the design to have Spring elements and colors. Because so much of Fall and Winter can be heavy and dramatic, we wanted to keep the aesthetic elements light and ethereal. The HPO is so beautiful that we didn’t feel like we needed to go over the top on our decor and focused on creating beautiful tablescapes with tons of candles for our guests.
The couple was also intentional about their banquet style seating arrangement for the party:
What we wanted most was for our guests to be able to share a meal together and for them to know how cherished each and every person is to us. It was important to create a community feel, so we opted for all banquet tables and assigned a seat to each guest. To accompany this we utilized family style dining so that we could literally “serve” our guests, and they could stay seated for the duration of their meal. I should clarify that it was not us serving the guests but the incredible staff of The Catering Place!
Katie says she “could go on about how perfect it all was,” but we’ll let the photographs (both digital and film) from Angela Elise speak for themselves. Enjoy!
